The SPring off Intelligent DampER System results from the collaboration with Gerardo Acocella,

  founder member of SPRING OFF srl and Race Engineer in World Championship Superstock 1000

 (2007-2009 World Champion with Ducati Junior Team, now involved  with Team BMW Motorrad Italia).

 The integration of the experience gained in the racing with the expertise in Information Engineering

 has generated the idea of the motorcycle electronic suspension system

which is able to adapt both to the road profile and riding style. 

 

 

 
     
   

The SPIDER system is composed of : 

  • Magneto-rheological Fork and Rear Monoshock

  • Electronic Control Unit

  • Displacement Sensor  

    		•
  • Gyroscope
    		•
       

      

    The innovative suspension system allows a real-time control for the response of the shoch absorbers to be performed on the basis of the measurement information about the vehicle dynamics.

    The control strategy executed by the electronic control unit is developed to meet the user demands of comfort and road holding.

    The system is designed to allow the continuous updating of the strategy, always mantaining the same riding safety and product reliability.
